Turab, I'd suggest you open the KNFB Reader app and on the main screen bottomline menu in the center, locate document type and double tap. This will open a picker item where you select between multi-column or single column document. My KNFB Reader seems to default to multi-column document type which works great when scanning something like a newspaper but not so great when you want the scanned page to be read left to right line by line, top to bottom. I believe you'd want the single column document type to get this result.
Richard is right about considering a scanning stand but try changing the document type first to see if the results are ordered more as you expect. If you want to scan a multi-page document, place focus on the button just above the bottom right most button of select profile. The button just above it is batch mode is off. For scanning more than one page, double tap it and it becomes process multi-page document. Then you can proceed to take pictures of each page. Good luck.
