No, if a passcode/touch Id is set it needs to be used whether at home or not. Having said this I rarely find it is inconvenient since it is so easy to unlock with Touchg Id.

But I am not sure if we have the option to avoid the protection when we are at home, or when we talk to the phone. Some times when I say “hey Siri”, open Spotify, my phone require that I unlock the screen with the finger print or a password. But if I am at home, there is no a way to make it easier? -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
