John,

Who do you yourself think you yourself are?

Saying, Think twice is simply a habitual way to say. You are not alone to whom
I use to quote it. Plus, I am not alone in quoting that; Rich is another one.

I want you and the folks here to realize what was said stands correct.

I care less about music, videos, and some of the apps. I have no interest in
music. Too much of music is enough. That is why I said iTunes should be used
in a more narrow way, not mixing it with apps where music is not mentioned.

That is simply ridiculous and should be changed for the better.

John, you have a lot yet to learn.

If you, John, or anyone do/does not like what I said, that is too bad for y’all.

This concludes.

Thanks.

Todd

Todd,

You keep telling us to think twice? I think you are the one who needs to do
this. Everyone is making the point that there are apps that are preferred and
used, and to say Apple forces too many on their customers is, again, a very
general and subjective statement based on your personal opinion. You keep
saying not all the apps, yet you infer that there are more than enough that
shouldn’t be on the devices at all. Yet, it has been repeatedly stated that
many customers Want those apps present on their devices. So, how is Apple
wrong? Most of them can be deleted in iOS 10, and those that cannot be removed
can be conveniently placed elsewhere and don’t consume the kind of space on a
device as probably was the case when we only had 8 and 16 GB models out there.
I have 128 GB on my iPhone, so a few stock apps placed in folders is not using
any real estate I’m personally worried about. At this point, I think a lot of
people are only filling devices with video and audio far more than the
applications.

Wait a minute.

I never said I want them “all” gone. I said that most of the apps like Home,
Health, Stocks, and Entertainment are simply useless.

Therefore, you are missing something. Yes, you have the wrong impression that
I want them all gone. Not true!

That is why I said Apple is really screwed up anyway. They do not know what
they are thinking. they just like to throw a lot of stuff at us for nothing.
That is it.

A lot of that stuff that you don't like on that separate page was present, just
in other places, like notifications. I don't use it much either. But I don't
have to mess with it if I don't want to. You seem to think that they should do
everything just because you wanted that way. That is a whole lot of entitlement

Hi John,

I usually move all the apps I don’t use or use extremely rarely to whatever the
last home page is for me, in my case it is page 4. Now that so many apps can be
deleted there are very few that go on that page. Stocks and iBooks are two
examples, both can be deleted but I keep them just because occasionally a PDF
needs to open in iBooks or I may in fact want to know how a particular stock is
doing. This way they are out of the way where I never need to go which to me is
even better than putting them into a folder which I then have on a home page I
do use. I wouldn’t even call this bloatware, apart from essential apps there
are only a few which can’t be deleted. Yes, Health is one of them, for me that
is OK because I use it frequently and I’m pretty sure quite a few of us on this
list do use it on a pretty regular bases as many of us have compatible devices
like scales or blood pressure monitors etc. Anyhow, judging from the responses
I have seen it would that only one person has a real issue with the fact that
there are maybe 2 or 3 apps which can’t be deleted, as Christopher said, if we
start getting into minor details like that .there must be very few major ones.

Sieghard

Again, Todd, because you or I might not have any use for them, it doesn’t
mean that others don’t use them. Move them into a folder as I’ve done with the
apps I don’t use. You can tell Apple accessibility all you want, but it doesn’t
change the fact you are a single user and there are millions of others who make
use of the apps you or I may not consider important or useful. Apple is far
from the only company who unfortunately has what might be called bloatware on
their systems. I agree with you that it would be nice to have the ability to
delete some apps, but I also understand why this isn’t the case. Thus, again,
that’s why you can create folders.

Hi Mary,

Such bad words and on a Sunday… naughty, naughty *smile*.

Health can indeed not be deleted and so far I found that apps like Phone,
Messages, Settings, Camera, Health, App Store, Photos/Videos and a few others
can’t be deleted as they are pretty crutial to iOS core functionality.

Home, however, can be deleted, I just tested it since I didn’t have anything in
it right now and it goes away.

My guess is that health and home can't be deleted because they're not just
simple apps. If you can't deal with that by putting them on the last page of
your device into a folder that you may name trash or whatever, I suggest you
get an android and see if you like that any better. This is such a non-issue.
Just move the damn things where you don't have to look at them and forget about
it. Why is that hard?

Yes, y’all need to understand that. That is what Apple Inc. fails to realize.

Also, Health app does not show “activate” or “Arranging apps”. What kind of

Use your common sense!
