Hi Todd,
Maybe try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again. There might have been 
a glitch in it when you downloaded it the first time.

Tod,

    Yes! Press the sleep/wake button on the right of the phone, holding it down 
for a few seconds. Hopefully, your braille display will say "swipe to turn 
off", doubletap on that, in which ever way you do that. Leave your phone for a 
minute, just to clear its memory of unnecessary stuff and then press the 
sleep/wake button again, holding it in for about 3 seconds and wait! It might 
take your phone a little while to sort itself out, it is a sort of reboot. 
after a while, you whould see another message on your braille display. With my 
phone, I find myself on the last app used or the home screen.
