Hello Evan, First, if you transfer the music to an app on your iPad mini, it will only be a copy, the music will also still be in Dropbox. So once you have it transferred, just go on your computer and delete it if you like. Next, do you have an app that you want to transfer the music to? Unfortunately, you will not be able to transfer music to your music app from dropbox. The only way you can transfer music to the music app is by using iTunes on your computer. So the only way you can transfer music to your device using dropbox, is to use a third party app. Now there are several out there, but the one I have used in the past is Evermusic Pro.
