I'm not sure which threading issue you're referring to, but if you don't
want to hijack a thread then just ask a new question or start a new
discussion with a fresh email sent to [email protected]
If you want to read all messages in a thread before replying then you
can just read all unread emails before replying. This is what I used to
do before using a threaded email client. I'd read through all of my
unread emails and delete most of them. I'd set aside the ones I wanted
to reply to and reply to them after I'd read all of my email. this kept
me from replying to a lot of messages that had already been answered.
I'd also like to suggest people use good descriptive subject lines and
change them is a thread is changing directions a bit.

Hi Mark,
Some of us that do not have, or are clients do not support thread view,
how do we get around the threading issue?

Subject: MODERATOR NOTE: High Traffic Week Ahead, Three Things to
Remember About Posting
Hello Everyone,
As I anticipate that this is going to be a high traffic week on the list,
given the upcoming Apple event, I want to remind everyone to:
1.
Avoid posting 1 line "thank you" messages.
2.
Do not hijack any threads.
3.
Read all of the messages, in a thread, before replying to it.
Thank you,
Mark
