I use the Old reader. It's web based and works with Feeddler Pro which I've found to be for me the best RSS client for iOS. The Old reader has a monthly or yearly subscription. Something like $2.00 a month or $20.00 for the year. It's also free if you have under 100 feeds. I choose to pay to in part support the service and have full access to all its features. Feeddler is integrated with all the typical services. Twitter, Facebook, Instapaper, email, messages, etc. The reason why I like this setup, is that I have synchronicity across all platforms. If I'm on my PC, be it IE or Firefox, I can view the exact same feeds as I would on my iOS device through Feeddler. If I check a feed as read on one device, it'll carry over to the others. If I add or delete a feed, the same will happen and so on.

My personal favorite app is Newsify. The things I like about it are that you can get feeds off line and fulltext, and you can disable the downloading of images. You can also have things open in Safari, so you get the reader view. That is a great thing. The full text downloading automatically is a premium feature, that is to say, it costs money. But it's not that much per year, and I have found it to be well worth it. Another popular app is lire. It is very voiceover friendly. I guess I just like newsify better perhaps because I started using it first. It just seems more streamlined and a little bit less chatty to me.
