You can do this with iTunes Home Sharing turned on and the Remote app installed on an iPhone provided that Jim's iTunes library contains all the content he wishes to play through his computer speakers and control such playback using his iPhone 6. I just launched the Remote app on my iPhone and iTunes on my Windows 7 computer and after making sure I had Home Sharing turned on under the iTunes File menu, I was able to scroll through my iTunes library using my iPhone Remote app and start playing one of my playlists which played nicely through my computer speakers. I am running iOS 9.3.4 and iTunes for Windows 12.4.1.6. Good luck. I use an app called Pulseway, that also has a Windows utility you have to install for accessing the system when my screen reader on the computer isn’t talking. You can reboot the computer look at error messages and lots more. You might even be able to do what you are asking but that is something I’ve never explored.
