OK, Apple Fan Girl forever and all, but I can’t resist a bargain and I got one of those bottom of the range Fire tablets for GBP60 including case and SD card so I thought it would do for places I wouldn’t want to take a nice Apple thing.
I have managed to plug it in to charge, but now I’m a bit stuck. I realise I will have to get a sighted person to switch speech on, but does anyone know of any resources I could check out? My MBP is refusing to read me the on-line instruction thing, no doubt on grounds of good taste. BTW, I know it’s only cheap, but my goodness me, what a difference even in the packaging from Apple.
