Please, please, call Apple Accessibility and let them know, plus go to apple.com/feedback and send them feedback there. There is no way I know of to get around all that tabbing in iTunes 12. The previous versions had a simple checkbox for each app without the extra 3 or 4 items you have to go through so each apps requires 4 or 5 tabs. Mind bogglingly useless.
You also should contact the manufacturer of your screen reader since Apple seems to be leaving it up to the screen reader manufacturers to fix what Apple does to break accessibility. When I select the Apps item I tab through the screen but must literally tab hundreds of times through all my apps. I have about 160 apps, but sizes and date installed and such are displayed which increases the times I have to tab through apps I'm not interested in working with. I gotta believe we blind computer users waste an enormous amount of time having to re-learn software after every release. Its ok for one or two pieces of software, but at some point this gets very tiresome when you have lots of software on your computer--especially software such as iTunes which isn't always the most intuitive or accessible.
