live in Birmingham. You could ask, how far is London, from the
Norern train station Birmingham? You should get something back.

just about
useless if you are trying to do what I am, which is to try to
find how far
away places are from there nearest stations before actually going
there and
being on location, as it were.

address and/or postcode, and it will then tell one the nearest
train station, and more importantly, the distance between said
