Texts don't take up that much room. As for audio, yes, that

audio/video messages? After receiving a bunch of messages, I
could see you
asking the list how to delete older messages as you now have no
room for new
ones, apps, or anything else on your phone as the space is all

Well, that was in fact sent to two minutes. But those messages

for longer than that. I got them yesterday. They were present
this
morning. They were absent this afternoon. And technically, I
don't know if
they count as audio messages, as it said attached media in both
cases.
Maybe that's what an audio message is. I get so few messages.
In any case,
I was lucky, because the person was able to resend the messages
without
any problem. I have set that keep audio messages setting to
forever. so if
that was the problem, I guess I should be good to go.

messages in Settings > Messages. It's near the bottom and I
believe by
default audio and video messages expire after 2 minutes, you can

minutes, the explanation reads as follows:
When you sent or listen to an audio message it will
automatically be
removed from your conversation history after 2 minutes.
As I said, you can change this to "Never" or, whenever you get
an audio
message and tap on it to play it, there is a "Keep" button and
if you tap
that the message will be kept. This is not a bug but it is done
this way
by design, almost works like SnapChat except it is only like
this for
audio messages so that not a bunch of storage space is taken up
by old
audio messages.
