Hi Bill,

I just find this strange since all of the beta testers and all of us who
upgraded to iOS 9 had this issue to various degrees of severity, but it was
reported fixed I think it was in 9.1 and I don't rrecall seeing a single
message in the last few months where somebody still had any problems with that.
This is why I suggested a new install and if this doesn't fix it my conclusion
would be that there may be some sort of hardware problem with your device. As
for restoring, I don't know if you can do it on your phone, but I'd personally
do an encrypted backup with iTunes and then do the restore via iTunes as well.
You first have to go to Settings > iCloud on your phone and make sure Find my
iPhone is turned off, you can't do a restore with it turned on. When you are
ready to go ahead, connect your phone, go to the device section and tab until
you find the restore button, activate it then follow the prompts.
When the process has finished you have the option to restore from a backup or
to set up as a new device. You can restore your backup any time so I'd set up
as a new device and try some phone calls to see if it works.

Regards,
Sieghard

another caller on your iphone

Sieghard et al;

First, with all due respect, I’m not the only person experiencing this problem
with iOS 9.2 on a 128 Gb iPhone 6; a friend is now chewing on me for advising
her to jump from 8.1.4 to 9.2!

You had mentioned in a prior message on this thread that I should consider
reinstalling iOS on a clean iPhone, just how does one go about doing this.

I have done a hard reboot, a reset network and a reset all and this has helped
some but the iPhone is not performing as it should during a call concerning
VoiceOver.

Thanks!
