First, if you're talking about this list, I doubt you were ever flamed
for asking for a direct link to something. I know some people don't want
any links at all and just want the text found on a web page included in
the message. I'd prefer the link myself, and I'm sure I've said as much
on this list, but being disagreed with isn't the same as being flamed.
Communication on these lists is a two way street. No one should flame
another poster and people shouldn't jumpt to conclusions that they're
being flamed just because not everyone agrees with them.
BTW, the link in the original message below took me directly to the
iTunes page for this app, which is exactly what I'd want, since I'd have
to go their anyway if I wanted to download and install the app.

I wish when people post links they could go directly to whatever they are
