To do this, you must already have characters, words, and lines in your
rotor. Stop the book from playing, then either run your finger up and down
the left side of the screen to find the line in which the word is located,
or switch the rotor to lines, and do a one-finger swipe up or down to find
the particular line. Then, turn the rotor to words, and one-finger swipe up
or down to find the word. Remember, when going forward or swiping down, the
cursor is going to be at the end of the word, when going backward, at the
beginning. Put the cursor at the beginning of the word, turn the rotor to
characters, and one-finger swipe down. If you are lucky, and you will be
more than not, it will spell it for you as you swipe down. Sometimes, it
loses focus, and you have to find the word, or occasionally, line again.
Remember that you have to do this swiping absolutely straight up and down,
or it will lose focus for sure.

Subject: Research and spelling unfamiliar words
Let me start off confessing that I don't read Braille.
I'm researching Peru in preparation for traveling there. I'm using
VoiceDream Reader and as you might imagine the text is filled with
unfamiliar words such as tribes, places, etc and ofcourse those words are
not pronounced correctly. Is there a relatively easy way to stop, find a word
and hear the spelling? If there is a better app I'm willing to give that a
try.
Thanks,
Kim
