Before you can select the easy way in IOS 9, you need to put text selection in the VoiceOver rotor. Go to settings, General, Accessibility, VoiceOver then rotor. Find Text Selection and double-tap. After that, you can select by doing the following: Find the beginning of what you want to select. Switch the rotor to text selection. Then flick down to either character, word, or line selection. Start flicking right until you have everything selected. STo copy it, switch the rotor to edit. Flick down to copy then double-tap. To paste it, the rotor will probably still be on edit, but if not, switch back to it. Flick down to Paste and double-tap. Let me know if anything is not clear.
