I know a lot of sighted people who turn the volume down on the TV and listen to the radio because they don't want to listen to the ramblings of the TV announcers that has nothing to do with the game. Even if the radio and TV are slightly out of sync, they'd rather listen. Plus they listen when doing other things, like cooking, working on their car, etc. Radio is not even close to being dead.
