I have noticed a couple of things about this bug. The first one is that, the amount of time it seems to take for voiceover to recover has something to do with the number of messages in the thread that is being replied to. The more messages in the thread, the longer the wait. Or thus it seems to me anyway this morning. I wonder if anyone else could confirm that? The other thing is that this is definitely a voiceover crash. I know that, because I was just experiencing the crash when I got my incoming mail sound, indicating that the phone was active, even though voiceover was not responding. Thus, this seems like a voiceover bug and not a ios9 general bug. Mary
