Hello all, I had this problem and wrote to this list earlier today. Apparently, my messages are not getting here so, I'll try again. yesterday, I updated to iOS 9. When I did, the feemale voice over sounded weard to me. So, I went into settings. Went to general, accessibility, voice over, speech. Then, I selected Default dialect english US default. Then, I tried other voices.Both of them stopped running after I would send or reply to an email. So, I went to Samantha default. double tapped on that twice. Now, I got the original voice back that I had before updating to iOS 9. I sent and replied to emails and did not have voice over crash and then return like I did with the other voices. Hi, I tried this twice now, one email of a friend I replied to and another I sent to myself from my work email and on my 5S there is no problem. I know Jennifer didn't take any preparatory steps prior to upgrading and I wonder if you, Shawn and you, Mary, did any of the steps Rob from the Today in iOS Podcast recommends. Primarily I mean to quit all apps and do a reset all network settings prior to upgrading. On my iPhone 5S, Voiceover crashes for 20-30 seconds and then it comes back on talking. Very annoying.
