Yes, I agree that they definitely complicated things. No, you cannot swipe to the right. Just try to tap around on the left side of the screen. You can also see the New Game button there as well. It is kind of a pain to navigate sometimes, too, because if you happen to tap your screen on one of the headings, The app will close. I have yet to figure out exactly what the new layout looks like. I have, though, been able to work around it with some patients. Yolanda is correct: the easiest way is to tap a notification in the notification Center, and that takes you right to your game.
