Hi Traci, While I do not have a good answer to your question, I have a related question which I believe you may be able to help me with.
I also have Talking Atlas and I can only get it to show me countries and not states or provinces. etc. >From your question, it seems as if you are able to see US states, for example, >whereas I am not. Am I understanding you correctly? I.E. Can you see each individual state in the USA and their spacial relationship to each other? If so, can I ask how you are doing this? As I’ve said above, I am only able to see countries on the map but nothing more detailed than that. I.E. I can see the USA but no states within it. It is fairly frustrating. :) As for your own question, I suspect the creators of the app probably do not have the level of fine-grained detail you are after just yet. Have you contacted them to express your concerns? I would also be happy to contact them along with you as well, as I really feel that a useful and detailed map application is something which is very important for us as visually impaired people.
