Depending on your email client and provider, anything in the Notes
folder of your email client will end up on your phone. You have to have
Notes checked in your email settings for this to be synced.
You can also use cloud storage like Google Drive, iCloud or DropBox. If
you won't have network access while you're traveling, then you'll want
to make sure the file is downloaded to your phone before you lose
network connectivity. In DropBox, I believe this happens when you add a
document to your favorites in the app on your phone.

Hi all,
I have some notes on desktop in a text file. Can I copy file or copy and
paste to IPhone into Notes...?
Don't wish to type or dictate if easily done with IOS.
I'll be having a crash course because IPhone4s will be my only tech toy
on trip.
