I cannot change the alert tone for new mail in the native mail app. It selects a new sound and plays that and I see it. When I open Sounds, Mail next, it still shows the new sound selected, but when mail comes in it plays the same tone as before. I tried adding a vibration pattern, which does work but with the old alert and not the one currently selected. I have powered off the phone several times and cleared the app switcher many times.
