I have the same experience here...
I run in several unlabeled buttons and I was not able to read the
timetable of a bus line...

Here in Portland, Oregon, I find PDX Bus to be far superior to this app.
In fact, I ran into quite a few unlabeled buttons when trying out the schedules
portion and the plan a trip portion.
It new our transit system and did show several stops near my location, but
trying to use it to find actual times, or plan a trip seemed more cumbersome
than is really necessary.
So, either it varies with different transit systems or I'm just not getting it.
