I think you get prompted for verification on any card that isn't part of
iTunes. With Capitalone 360, I was able to verify by downloading their
wallet app. The only odd thing is that now that there's Google Wallet, and
this Wallet, both named Wallet, it's hard to tell which Wallet is which
until I open one.

I did indeed get my new iPhone 6 case today, so went ahead and
set up the device. As for Apple Pay, as part of the phone setup
process, I was asked if I wanted to add my card on file with
iTunes to Apple Pay, to which I said yes, entered the three digit
code on the card, and it went through without a problem. But, my
second card needed to be added manually; and, as suspected, I got
the message that I needed to call my bank as verification was
required. Since it was late when I started the setup process,
I'll give my bank a call tomorrow, which I guess will actually be
later on today now. Oh, the card on file was my debit card,
while the second one I was trying to add was my credit card,
although I don't know whether it being a credit card caused the
verification or not, but I did have to call when I put that
credit card on my 6 plus as well.

Thanks much for letting me know. Hope my bank doesn't give me
any problems when I give this a try later on today. Or, at least
I think it will be today, depending on how behind packages are
still being delivered due to the weather, as I'm waiting to put

As you might recall, I purchased my iPhone 6 plus 16 GB when the
phones were first available. But, wanting to try the 6, as well
as get a 64 GB model, I just recently purchased an unlocked 6
from Apple. I had thought about going to the AT&T store and
paying off the Next plan on my 6 plus, as well as getting the 64
GB 6 from them, but opted to leave the Next in place for now and
just buy online directly from Apple.
Since my new 6 is unlocked, I'm reasonably sure I can put my AT&T
sim card in the phone and restore from my iCloud backup. But,
how will doing this affect the two credit cards I now have in
Apple Pay on my iPhone 6 plus? I'm guessing they will stay on the
plus, but will I be able to also add them on my 6, as I'm
figuring they won't just transfer over.
As a side note, this time, my iPhone was shipped from here in the
States, from Tennessee, rather than from China as was my iPhone 6
plus. I ordered it this past Sunday and was scheduled to get it
Tuesday, but it didn't arrive until today because of the bad
weather we've been having lately.
