On question 1, that is what I do, and it seems to clear up the problem of
not matching. We have the same carrier.
On question 2, I have no idea. I leave it on, though, in case I forget to
turn it on before leaving home. However, I do turn Bluetooth and WiFi off
when leaving home for that very reason: battery conservation. HTH.

Subject: Cell data questions
Hi all,
I have a couple questions on cellular data on the iPhone.
1. When you go to settings/cellular, do you reset the current period each
Month to match your carrier bill cycle? The iPhone’s register of my usage,
never matches Verizon’s tally.
2. If one decided to turn off cellular data for a while, does this have any
advantage on battery life?
Thank you,
Traci

finding a cure for leukemia and related blood cancers. Locally, LLS funds 8
researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of
Washington Medical Center. Your support and commitment to the mission of LLS
enables this important work to continue. Please go to my page to learn more
