There needs to be an empty spot in the dock first. If you haven't
already, you need to move something out of the dock, using the same
method you use to move any app, and then try moving your app back into
the dock again.

Thank you for your response. It isn't working though. I held onto the app
until I heard it say moving be my eyes. I kept moving it until it said Doc
phone editing and I let go and it doesn't appear in the dock it goes right back
to where it was at before I moved it. So I'm kind of confused. How long do I
need to keep my finger on where it says doc, phone, editing? Thank you. Jerry

Just double tap and hold with one finger on the app until you hear VoiceOver
say moving and the name of the app, and simply drag the app down to the doc
area and release.

Subject: How do I add things into the dock area where the phone mail music And
Safari are located?
Hello there. I am wondering if there's a possibility to add things into the
dock area? How would I do that? I wanted to add a Be My Eyes to the dock area
so that I don't have to keep trying to search for it. Thank you so much. Jerry
