I have had issues with jail.42.org myself. But you can always subscribe directly via the google groups homepage and then send mails directly to [email protected] and [email protected] The vim.org mailing list is basically served by googlegroups, so you won't miss anything, the vim.org email addresses are forwarded to the google groups provider.
