The problem with Vim starting in replace mode in Windows Terminal is solved with versions 1.3.2651.0 (release) and 1.4.2652.0 (preview) that were published yesterday. The cause of the problem is discussed here <https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/pull/7583>.
