designated window; its appearance should not change (other than size,
of course).
I think in this case I'll have to get used to doing :only instead of
<c-w>o. Thanks for having a look.
What I use for "zooming in" is
:tab split
It keeps the original layout in the other tab, no need for a plugin.
Actually that's why I love tab pages :-)
