endfunction

function! s:function(name)

endfunction

let s:obj = {'name': 'cache'}

let s:obj['clear'] = s:function('s:cache_clear')

" this works
echo s:obj.clear()

" this fails with E924
echo call(s:obj.clear, [], s:obj)
