Not at all, in fact Reply-to-List is the preferred method *when replying*, precisely because it preserves all the right headers. Sometimes it won't work, because it replies on the message you're replying to to have the right headers, which fails when people use Reply-to-All. This also happens with mailers that don't implement Reply-to-List (including Gmail). From then on in the (sub)thread, everyone is forced to use Reply-to-All as a fall-back. When composing a new message rather than a reply to an existing one, don't use any variant of Reply.
