The hardware might support it, but the upstream drivers don't. You're
outta luck afaict.

I don't understand why advertise a feature if it isn't supported in the
drivers they made? that makes no sense.
Do you mean just the 2xxx controllers or the newer 3xxx as well? are
there any RAID/HBA cards that actually have SR-IOV?
