TBH, I don't know when Intel added it, it's identified by bit 59 in the VT-d capability register, which you can read via: # cat /sys/class/iommu/dmar*/intel-iommu/cap Look for it, I'm not even positive about the E5+ statement, and who can predict what Intel will trickle into the consumer products.
