Hello Bob

The choice between BIOS/UEFI on the host is not relevant. My machine (host) is running under BIOS yet guests are runinng under UEFI‎. I don't know much about VMM but perhaps it limits the choice for other reasons, eg availability of flash or selection of guest OS

Subject: [vfio-users] BIOS vs UEFI

Hello,
I think I may have made a mistake. I would like to use passthrough with an RX480 (which I haven't installed yet) on Debian Testing. I think I may have shot myself in the foot already, though. When I installed debian, I might have used BIOS mode. When I create a new VM in VMM, it wont let me choose UEFI, is that because my host OS is BIOS? Does it matter?

Bob
