Not sure how anyone can possibly know the answer to your question about whether a bug will be fixed and when, or whether a super-new & very expensive card with hardly any testing time or exposure would work, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask. Perhaps your best course of action is to buy from a local brick and mortar store, test, and return the card if it doesn't work.
I'm somewhat amused that your price point is $1300/card, but you say that the "problem here is the price." That's really expensive for a video card! I'd suggest having a look at the spreadsheet of successes/failures <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LnGpTrXalwGVNy0PWJDURhyxa3sgqkGXmvNCIvIMenk/edit?pli=1#gid=2> and picking a device from there.
