You need the cIndexFile object too. The file represents the index.vdr (or now just index) files contents, and has a translation function Get() that translates an ongoing frame number into a file number and a byte offset. Optionally, it tells you the frame type and length (if known). Hint: The main playback loop of VDR is in cDvbPlayer::Action.
