Hi Klaus,

/var/log/vdr.log doesn´t contain any info regarding problems with channel
s.conf
I start vdr with -l 3

dmesg |grep vdr
shows nothing

where else should I look?

Using ubuntu 8.10

Should be logged in your syslog file.
