For organize your channels.conf you can use a channel-editor programm. http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Channeleditoren Or you use the good autosort plugin, but the configuration is tricky http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Autosort-plugin But, when you *need* the prefered channels in your MainMenu, your can create a command menu item with menuorg like this: <command name="MyChannel" execute="svdrpsend -d 127.0.0.1 chan 123"/> But i think, this is not what you mean?!
