Hi List,

I would like to try Sogo in an extended test environment.

But have troubles figuring out what software is needed - how the puzzle fits
together.

General
Goal is to have Single-Sign-On across the board so I will need OpenLDAP
The env. also need to support Win clients so Samba needs to talk to OpenLDAP
(Have done this before so that should be okay)
Users will be using Thunderbird as e-mail client (no outlook, even on Windows)

E-mail
I have only a few (virtual) domains (15) to take care off (with limited amount
of user <10)
A major preference for qmail/Dovecot (have a little bit of experience here too)
I don't like using qmail-ldap. (If possible?)

I went through 'Anatomy of a typical qmail system'
and 2-3 days of googling only to get more confused.

So will this work / support my needs?

OpenLDAP
netqmail (anybody used Zinq - http://sourceforge.net/projects/zinq/ )
dovecot - talking to LDAP
vpopmail for 'linking' LDAP and Qmail + virtual domain management
Sogo / imaps (no pop at all) with in a second stage Funabol
MySQL only for Sogo Agenda. Would like to use LDAP for AddressBooks & User Auth

Do I miss something? Making it to complicated?

Anybody knows about RECENT documentation on this stack?
qmail/dovecot/vpopmail/oLDAP/sogo

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Peter
