you do also need to make sure the "rcpthosts" and/or "morercpthosts.cdb" files are built on the remote server (what i call a "mailhub") as well... but that's only an issue when you add or remove domains. and in either case, there is no need to synchronize an entire directory structure.
the web page does explain the mechanics and has a bunch of scripts, but it also relies on qmail being built with my validrcptto.cdb patch as well... and while i (obviously) think it's better, it can be a little bit of a learning curve for somebody who is already used to some other solution (such as chkuser.)
