I'm considering replacing qmail-smtpd with qpsmtpd (and keeping everything else the same, including vpopmail).

I'm under the impression it is as simple as replacing qmail-smtpd's run script (tcpserver) with a qpsmtpd run script.

qpsmtpd can be used as-is, or with PPerl (persistent perl) or with mod_perl2 (using Apache2 to handle very high concurrency).

Has anyone else already tried doing this? Any comments?
