No, the above are identical in that $EXT and $HOST is the recipient address,
which can be an alias, NOT the delivery address, which is the problem. For
another, shell escaping like that does not work in maildroprc. I need a
variable set to the delivery address, rather than the recipient address.
If you put the email address to forward to in the .qmail-alias file (instead of the Maildir), then it should work, as the message will be forwarded and re-processed.
We could add a feature to vdelivermail where it sets an environment variable to the Maildir it's delivering to, if that would be at all useful.
