If you're using the valias table with PostgreSQL or MySQL, please take a look at the following patch:

It should make valiases actually work for PostgreSQL (they didn't before now).
Also, the old code didn't work if you had Maildir delivery lines in the valias table.
If you fall into either of those categories, please try the patch and let me know whether it works for you.
