I am running RH 9 with qmail 1.03 (netqmail 1.05) vpopmail 5.4.0, qmailadmin 1.2, sqwebmail, it is a fresh install of everything I also installed ucspi, and daemon tools. Everthing is the newestversions that I could find and with all available patches. Here is my running processes I have checked the permissions for vpopmail and vchkpw. I have verified the setting in my cdb file and the vpasswd file

Using sqwebmail I can send and receive mail but when I use any pop client Eudora, Pegasus, OE the authentication fails. Thjs mail server is for internal use only and will never be live to the outside. But I need POP working and have run out of ideas myself thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing any ideas on this.
