qmail admin is set suid as root:wheel or vpopmail:vchkpw. Either one on my BSD system, that is how it has enough priveliges whjen called by apache. Which can be done with squiral mail as well i believe. It seems to me the way to handle that is to have the plugin call
vpopmail functions directly. I see QmailAdmin as an adapter between the
CGI interface to a web server and the vpopmail functions. How would
another applicaion use it?
Qmailadmin runs as the vpopmail user and have all the privileges to do it. A PHP plugin I don't know how to make it have this privileges (an existing plugin ask you to run the web server as the vpopmail user!) but it could call internally qmailadmin. Any hint?
