I've cleaned up my welcome.msg patch to vpopmail-5.3.30 and posted it on vpopmail.sf.net. It adds a vsendwelcome() function to vpopmail.c and a call to it at the end of vadduser(). Also included are README.welcomemsg and a welcome.msg.dist file which is just a placeholder right now.
I haven't looked at the patch yet, but we can add it to the 5.5 development series once we get a stable 5.4 released out of the 5.3 series.
5.3.31 will probably be released as 5.4.0-pre1 shortly. We aren't adding new features now -- only fixing bugs andtweaking the build process and documentation.
