Hi, I'm rather sure that this is a bug: After upgrading to 5.3.29, the first time I authenticate via APOP it fails with error message: "Error. update_rules failed" After that message the rest works fine. I can reproduce this by cleaning my ip from opem-smtp and rebuilding tcp.smtp.cdb, reinstalling 5.3.27, authenticating (-> it works without any error message), re-doing the whole ip-removing-procedure and installing 5.3.29: The message comes up again. My configure-options are --enable-domainquotas=y --enable-defaultquota=20971520S --enable-clear-passwd=y --enable-relay-clear-minutes=30 --enable-tcpserver-file=/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp --enable-roaming-users=y
Maybe it's the same bug that was posted before? Juergen
