[vchkpw] using SpamAssassin on a per user basis with qmail

Is it possible to use SA on a per user basis within qmail?

I know how to set up SA on a per domain basis, but not all users in the domain I am setting up want spamassassin. Is there a way to call spamc from a .qmail file within an individual user's directory?

If so, what is that command?
