What user qmail-pop3d is running as? Make sure this user has write
permissions in '~vpopmail/domains/[name-of-your-domain]/[user]/Maildir'
Maybe you want to have a look if tcpserver is called with '-u' and/or
'-g'

Depends on how you start POP3-server. When using 'daemontools' you'll
have to look in '/service/qmail-pop3d/log/run' (assuming
'/service/qmail-pop3d' is the directory containing script for starting
POP3).--
